According to everything I could find, the Xbox One sold about 400,000 more units than the PS4 for the month of November.

Prior to November, the PS4 had approximately a 1.1 million lead over the Xbox One, which means it averaged a little less than 100,000 console lead per month in the US. This includes the 7 months that the Xbox One was $100 more expensive than the PS4. Yet
these comparatively measly monthly leads while have a much larger price advantage was always proof of the shear dominance PS4 has over Xbox One. Makes sense to me.

Now, mind you, none of these numbers were substantiated by either company, and they mostly come from vgchartz, so take it all with a grain of salt.

I agree. But can you really blame people? The PS4 is the most popular console out right now. From day one it has gotten the more positive public image. Speaking of image, I think more people would find the PS4 to be aesthetically better. I see more PS4 marketing.
As far as word of mouth goes, I'm sure the PS4 is recommended more to friends. It's always going to be an uphill battle.. they will never catch up to PS4.

Indeed..that $100 more price tag hurt Xbox in the beginning and they know it..had it been the same price all along i believe sales would have been different. I was even slightly tempted to go PS4 in the beginning but paying $400 just for Naughty Dog games(the
best thing about it) didn't seem like a good idea as i have those on my PS3.

 

I think word of mouth is also spreading in favour of the X1 now. To many people still think it carries Pre-release policy's like drm but they are beginning to find that isn't the case. Many people have been hearing about big graphical differences between
the X1 and it's competitor but then have seen with their own eye's it's just not true.

The console improves every month with updates. Live is as good as your going to get when looking for an online network for gaming. The game's that are out and the games that are coming out have massive appeal, that's without future releases we haven't even
heard about yet.

For silver account's to come on here and play this down is....Well, I suppose it's typical when feeling threatened to get defensive. At the end of the day, if the console wasnt already appealing to people, it wouldn't matter how big of a price drop it got,
they just wouldn't buy it.

Well it is the month of Christmas. No one wants to work hard over Xmas.

 

Unfortunately, I wouldn't expect this trend to continue. This company still has many detractors such as my self that will never support this company again! In fact I go out of my way to sway as many people towards PS4 as possible. Xbox can't keep giving
this thing away at $329 with 3 games forever. Expect PS4 to continue its domination in the new year.

Just some figures for the trolls, xbox outsold the ps4 by 400,000 in the US alone its not a figure to be dismissed.

It also outsold the ps4 in the UK and Europe. It obviously did better in China as the ps4 won't release there until next year. You should give praise where praise is due, you wont be able to use sales figures anymore as an argument, and games are the same
if not better (esp frame rates) seriously get over it, and stop coming to the xbox one thread to talk about the ps4.
