    I recently purchased Doom on the Xbox One, and to my dismay, it went on sale a few days later. I was wondering if it was possible to earn some credit, because I just spent an extra thirty bucks.

    Sales?

    Not sure if this is been asked before or even if this is right place to ask but.. How long do sales on Xbox Live last for? I've looked around and couldn't really find anything on it. For instance the "Spotlight" sale which is at the moment 2K games. How
    long does that last for? A week? Two?

    I do not think that they will give you any money back however if you bring it to the support chat maybe a representative can give you a different opinion as well as they can see when you bought it and if it is within a few days like you said maybe they will

    If you mean it was on sale and the sale is over, then unfortunately there is no way to get that sale price again unless it goes on sale again.

    No. The "weekly" sales will only be on sale for 1 "week", (7 days), and the "daily" sales will only be on sale for
    1 "day". There should be 2 "weekly" sales &
    15     "daily" sales in addition to the weekly Deal of the Week sales during the period of the 15 days until 2014.

    Well, considering there are 52 sales a year, plus holiday sales, plus publisher sales and a few random sales as well, it is more than likely a lot of things will have been on sale before. The Walking Dead which is the weekly sale was on sale this time
    last year as part of the weekly countdown sales.
