Saints Rows the third driving fps drop?

Hello

I'm having fps drops or at least that what it seems to me when ever i drive on high speed it fells that there's some small frame rate drops. When playing on foot combat and any other activities the game runs smoothly but whenever i drive it feels like the
game runs slower than it should. I have installed it on my hard drive cleaned the cache and still fell the same. Is it normal or is it something with my console? btw the disc is slightly scratched but like i said no fps drops on any thing but driving even
then still playable. just wondering if its normal.

Thanks for this i felt the game wasn't long enough and needed more of a story line to it, and what the hell was that boat mission where you were naked on the ship seriously its so annoying i didn't get it and + my mum walked in.

 

The newer Saints Row and GTA games tend to have an unstable framerate when you do high sped activities such as driving, flying, or boating. One big suggestion I see is to make sure V-Sync is set to off in the Saints Row 3 Settings. It may cause some minor
graphics glitches in the game, but it should speed up your frame rate significantly.

I suppose you could also use a laser lens cleaner such as this:

Thank you for your reply, i have turned V-Sync off forgot to mention that... It doesn't make the game unplayable but its noticeable and my concern was if there was any thing wrong with my console.

 

Can't say for sure whether or not it's the console or the disc. If you don't notice any problems in any other games, I'd say it is a disc problem. My original Grand Theft Auto 4 disc was very scratched and driving at High speeds would cause a rapid FPS drop.
