Saints Row IV download

I just purchased Saints Row IV and it is taking an impossibly long time to download, I've stopped and restarted the download about 5 times because I first thought it wasn't making any progress but it turns out that it takes over 20 minutes for it to reach
just 1%, which is getting to be extremely frustrating seeing as how I just spent nearly $40.00 on this purchase. Any help would appreciated.

I recommend checking out Saints Row, Saints Row II, Saints Row: The Third, and Saints Row IV. All great open world video games to play on the 360.

 

Dead Rising 3 gets 13 GB patch ahead of first DLC expansion

Very huge 13GB. And that's a patch? Man, that's the size of Saints Row IV already on Steam. Well, looks like we're about to see what patching future is going to be like., I just hope the patches don't reach beyond that. I'd hate to download a 40GB patch for a game I could download like Saints Row IV.

Great thanks. Your download speed is fine and the upload is a little slow but upload doesn't matter all that much for downloading games.

It's your ping that worries me. It is extremely slow and might be the reason you're having issues. If you could try power cycling your modem/router by unplugging for 10 seconds that should hopefully solve the issue for you.

Don't forget to head to Settings>System>Storage and find any downloads with a yellow exclamation mark beside them. The exclamation mark means they're corrupted and should be deleted.

 

Okay I'll try that if the download fails this time. But should I delete the corrupted files before or after I try the power cycling?

What isths connection type?

Lte or dsl or cable?

If lte that would be why

Lte isnt made for gaming and it is suggested you use broadband

Also if yoybhave fibre you need to work with your isp on your firewall settings

 

Anything above 100ms isnreally bad

That shows nat or lag issues

 

Even back in the 56k days 100ms was normal but i never heard of over 500ms

Either you have a firewall issue or a lte connection

Lte connections arent made for gaming and arent consistent enough for it
