Saints Row 4 Re-elected

I preordered, and pre-downloaded, the Xbox One version of Saints Row 4. The description in the store at the time said that it would be playable on the 22nd and yesterday it changed to this: "XBOX ONE GAME EXPECTED TO RELEASE ON 23/01/2015. YOU MAY
DOWNLOAD THE GAME FROM XBOX LIVE BEFORE THEN, BUT IT WILL NOT BE PLAYABLE UNTIL 12:01 AM GMT ON THE RELEASE DATE".

Now, I had assumed that the date changed from the 22nd to the 23rd to account for the fact that we often have to wait for the US to catch up (I'm in Australia) and for the game to launch there first, so I didn't really think much of it. Well, it's now 12:30am
on the 23rd of January and the game still isn't available.

I am physically in Australia, my account region is Australia and the region settings on my console are all for Australia, so there should be no problems there. I've also done a hard restart to clear the cache. Is this just a matter of waiting till like 5pm
for the US to catch up, or is there something else going on? It is kind of annoying to not be able to play a game that I've paid for and should currently be available.

Good thing they changed their minds on this "always online" rubbish, as things would be infinitely worse if that stuff was still in place.

Saints Row 4: Re-Elected will be available on January 27, 2015, which also just so happens to be the release of the standalone expansion, Saints
Row: Gat Out of Hell, also announced today. It'll be available for $30, or as part of a bundle with Gat Out of Hell for $50.

 

Hey there, shadow! As you quoted, it will not be available until 12:01am GMT on 1/23. This is still in a few hours. Go ahead and try it then. If it's still not working for you, please post back so that we can look into it further.

 

i purchased saints row 4 relected bundle but only got gat out of hell anyone know why?

nope just checked the store and it wouldn't let me install SR IVR and i did do a full restart of my console and it still didn't work
