Saints Row 4/Gat out of hell

How are these games? Me and the gf were thinking about getting them, but I wanna see what some of the forumites think. I heard it comes with all the dlc as well, which I never got a chance to play. What about the Gat standalone? Is that any good?

Saints Row 4 Re-Elected & Gat Out of Hell...

 

Saints Row 4 is fun, I found the 'romances' hilarious. However the super-powers in the game become so dominant that everything else falls by the wayside.

Plus when I first played, because I had my Boss in a DLC outfit in SR3, on import she was walking though the White House naked.

Gat Out of Hell is pretty much just a collection of side missions.

 

Sr4 is a bit buggy (same bugs as 360/ps3) and you need to leave the console idle for several hours to get one achievement, with that said and done, the main game is %100 fun and funny. It's as crazy as you'd expect if you've played Sr3 x 100. I have not
finished Gat out of Hell though I have put a few hours in, it's been fun so far though it's clearly DLC if you get my drift. If you haven't played SR4 yet, it's worth the new version. I'm not a very good reviewer though I can say I thought it wasn't my type
of game, however i think it's everyones type game,, 16 and over

 

I bought the SR4 bundle a couple night ago. I started SR4 yesterday. Only a couple minutes in but seems enjoyable. The only thing I noticed is the button layout, and the amount of different button controls......

Me and my gf actually had a blast playing co-op on Saints Row 4. It's a lil' (or a lot) crazier than the previous games, but that's what we found fun about it.
Vaynel pretty much nailed it when they said that Gat Out Of Hell was basically side missions. We still found it fun also.

Vampirella also thinks that SR4 on the Xbox One is proof that some games could be BC. It's virtually the same on the 360. Nothing has changed in HER OPINION. It's just a port. Re-labeling a game as a REMAKE / REMASTER / COLLECTION / DIFINITIVE EDITION...
etc. is just another way to get more money for the same game in
HER OPINION. Ignore her though because she's crazy.

This game looks interesting, but after trying out Saints Row 1 and Saints Row 2 I don't think that this game is going to be different (despite the Alien take over and what not).

I didn't like Saints Row 1 and Saints Row 2, sorry guys

"Saints-Row IV" is nothing like the first 2 games.

In the first 2 games you're a gangster looking to control the neighbourhood.

In "Saints-Row IV" you're trying to slip the bonds of slavery imposed by your Alien Overlords through the use of Super Human powers and abilities.

Some superb humour in the game. The kind that will have you laughing out loud.

However whereas "GTA IV" may have taken itself too seriously... "Saints-Row IV" doesn't seem to take itself seriously enough.

It's still as addictively fun to play as it is ridiculous however.

Saints Row 4 was really fun albeit repetitive but for the price I paid for it with all the dlc(13 bucks) I wasn't complaining. It's a lot of fun with a friend and just enjoying all the crazy stuff that happens. Pretty sure my GF wants a a Saints Row V now.

If you can get it for a decent price I'd say its worth. Also Dubstep Gun and tentacles. hehehe

I will consider getting Saints Row 4 when it becomes cheap for the Xbox 360 because the Xbox One doesn't have the Xbox 360's custom soundtrack option. Saints Row 4 is on sale right now for the Xbox 360, but I hate Digital versions of games so I will buy
it on disc LOL

Also, I just got Assassins Creed: Liberation for the Xbox 360 (Digital only, so I have no choice at all) and I love it (this is my 1rst Assassins Creed game).

Thank you for the feedback guys. I played through it once on 360 and loved it, but if there really aren't any major improvements, I think I'll pass. The DLC doesn't particularly look like omg I wanna play it either. Gat is just side missions? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
maybe just get that but the bundle for both is 30. I mean maybe? I dunno. I'm cheap but it's for a game I've already played(my gf wanted it mainly for co-op) and for a game that's just side missions. Decisions lol.

 

I played for a couple hours tonight (SR4)... LOVE IT! Good game play.. and sarcasm!!!!

 

The "Do everything" rewards are so unnecessary, therefore go for them.
