Saints Row 2 Co-op Problem

Hello everyone! My brother and I are trying to play Saints Row 2 via System Link in our household on two separate Xbox 360 consoles. Unfortunately, whenever he or I try to host the system link game we receive an error message stating that we cannot play
together because we do not have the same DLC. Only my account purchased the DLC, and I have all of the DLC downloaded onto both consoles. Is the DLC simply not shareable for his account, and is there any way to remedy this besides deleting my DLC on my console
and starting another save file? Or is he forced to purchase the DLC himself in order for us to play together? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Will GTA San Andreas come back to the marketplace?

If you like San Andreas make sure to check out the Saints Row series. Saints Row 2 and Saints Row 3 have a full co-op campaign with all the fun features from San Andreas along with a full co-op campaign and insane customization. They are the closest games
on the 360 to San Andreas.

SR2 vs SR3

I think that saints row 2 is an overall better game, altough saints row 3 was a step fowards in graphics and other small things. But in saints row 2 there is soo much more too do, specially with a co-op partner. Just my opinion.

When you purchase digital content it becomes licensed to your profile, which is why you can play it on any console when you are signed into Live. It's also how you are able to download it from your purchase history on any console.

There is a second license that comes when you make a purchase; this one is for your console. This second license is what allows other users on your console (or the console the purchase was made from) use that content whether or not they are connected to
Live. It is this license that gets transferred when you purchase a new console and perform a license transfer.

But your brother should purchase the content for use on his own console. That way he can use it wherever he wants.

Hey, thanks for the reply. Yes, he was using my console license on his Xbox 360 console, but I think the issue was that he didn't have the DLC for Saints Row 2 even though it was downloaded onto the console, so he just purchased it and now we can play together

My wife & I will create ourselves in the game and do pure co-op destruction. I bought her her own Xbox just so we could play co-op for Saints Row 2. So Saints Row The Third is gonna be a BLAST!.....Once we can afford 2 copies of the game that is.
