    Sagemcom EGCI422 TCM HD not recognized for IR-controll


    Hi!

    My cable box, Sagemcom EGCI422 TCM HD, is not recognized when going through the guided setup for IR-controll.

    IR from Xbox one s is working fine. My TV and A/V-receiver are turned on/off without problem, live Tv is also OK.



    Any ideas?

    Hi!

    My set top box, Sagemcom DTIW77 HD, is not recognized when going through the guided setup for IR-controll.

    When entering the model manually I get two Sagemcom models as suggestion, none of them are DTIW77.

    IR from Kinect is working fine. My TV and A/V-reciever are turned on/off without problem.

    Live Tv is working otherwise. I get picture and OneGuide has my channels.

    Tv-Provider: Boxer (Sweden DVB-T)

    Box: Sagemcom DTIW77 HD



    Any ideas?

    Thanks Relnah. 2 more follow up questions before I file a bug to get this added to our database.

    1) Does power on/off work for any of those codesets?

    2) Are you sure your Kinect has line of sight to IR blast to the STB?

    Thanks for the info. Can you go to TV & OneGuide settings -> Device control -> Cable/sat box -> Enter a remote code and try these out?

    I can now confirm that this is fixed!

    Using the guided setup and choosing Sagemcom, the Xbox could not find my box, but when specifying Sagemcom and "DT" as the first letters in the model DTIW77 showed up in the list.

    From what I can tell my Xbox One can now control my set top box without a problem.

    Thanks for the tip!

    Unfortunately it did not help.

    What I did was this (for each code):

    • Have set-top box set to channel 1
    • Enter code -> done.
    • Go back out to start screen.
    • Press X to bring up OneGuide.
    • Select channel 2 and press A.
    The xbox switches to TV but does not change the set-top box channel.
