I thought it was very important especially for the younger generation of gamers who can let gaming consume there life, check it out if you didnt read it.

So gaming can be fraustrating we have all at some point wanted to scream or shout because we didnt complete a mission or we were spawn killed.

But with the influx of games for younger people this has made gaming more widely available and has attracted a lot of younger gamers. I have spoken to a lot of gamers and heard stories about abuse they have received over game chat or directly into the xbox
messages.

As a gaming community we want everyone to enjoy gaming without the fear of harassment from others.

To any parents reading this who decided to buy there child a console or if any gamers know a family that has bought there child a console please make sure they are aware of the “Parental Controls” that are located in the “Settings”. This setting was put
onto the xbox to protect young gamers and vulnerable gamers from been exposed to content & communication that could cause alarm, offence or harassment.

As a community we need to make sure the gaming experience is safe and fun for everyone.

FEMALE GAMERS - Now the influx of female gamers has grown over the years and this is fantastic to see (Big ups to all the female gamers ✌��). But it has been bought to my attention over the last few years the amount of inappropriate images and messages females
receive over social media platforms like Facebook & Instagram.

As a community we do not want this leaking into xbox or playstation platforms!!! Please respect female gamers and treat them with respect, they have every right to game as much as males without the fear of sexual harassment and receiving inappropriate content
over xbox.

Do not cross the line and ask them inappropriate questions or use sexist or derogatory remarks based on there gender, this attitude has no place in the gaming community. (Yes of course males can be sexually harassed as well as females, but having 3 sisters
i do feel females get it the worst).

Gaming should be safe and fun: Use of extreme language, threats of physical violence, threats of sexual violence, sexual harassment, racial or religious hatred will NOT be tolerated in this community. Microsoft, XBOX, XBOX Ambassadors are always here for
you to talk to if you have received malicious communications. I would urge anyone that has received inappropriate communication to report the issue to xbox via your console when you receive them.

As a Community we need to stand together and eliminate this type of behaviour (especially as you don’t know who you are talking to) it could be a minor and inappropriate comments can cause distress to gamers.
