I just wanted to surface the fact that I do not feel comfortable about posting or messaging anymore, as anything can be taken offensively. Since the new policy has been put in place I've already lost one account and I've had 4 communication suspensions on
    this one.

Now I've surely learned my lesson about using profanity and nasty terms, but still getting banned for a mere criticism is my fear. I wanted to make players aware of griefers and unfair players on GTAV Online, but someone from the community disliked it and reported
    me.

I feel unsafe on Xbox live, all i want is to help other players and play with friends. Xbox is already on a downward spiral so perhaps leeway for players would help the case. If i do lose a second account over immature players then I will move onto a different
    platform.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, I hope I manage to make an impact on making Xbox live reasonable and safe for other players.

    :)

    Question to safety for kids

Thank you both for the ideas! I will first try that passkey Change .

however, to create a Family would do better, but I Need something to save the datas. Maybe do another account as familymanager and put my first account into it as a child? would that work out?

    Question to safety for kids

    Hello Antjebeutlin,

If you create a family and try to add your account as a child it will not work as the birthdate is over 18. If you make him a child account then whatever progress he has will need to be done over again. The passkey is your best bet in this case, however,
if the games are free he will still be able to download them even if a rating you don't want him to play. My best advice would be to monitor what he does with a passkey set up, or create a family and a new child account for him so you have full control over
what he is able to do.

    Thanks,

    Brad

    Question to safety for kids

    Hi there,

it's advised that a child will have it's own account with the details and age that matches, since that will result in a parent account being needed which can control what the child account can and can not do.

By doing that you will also be able to create a family, with that family you'll be able to control several things. See this link for information regarding a family:

    https://support.xbox.com/my-account/microsoft-account/microsoft-account-family-benefits

    other information regarding family etc:
    https://support.xbox.com/browse/xbox-one/security/Family

If you do want to go for it, then the only downside is his game progress and unlocked achievements etc, these can not be transferred to a different account. (There are a couple exceptions like Fortnite)

You can set your account to be limited to Child/Teen content but you can't block that from being changed, you can set up a passkey to block it from being changed, but that will not be as secure as using their own account
