    Sadly, Xbox is losing a 10+ year loyal customer.


    My truck was off warranty 3 weeks before the A/C compressor piled up.... I paid to get it fix.... hence warranty end dates.....

    A co worker bought a PS4 against my wishes (LOL).... guess what... it wont read a disc... he returned it to Walmart since it was only 4 days old.

  2. I got a 3-year protection plan for my PS4 because as soon as you trust something is going to last forever like my PS3 (7 years strong) it will fizzle out on you at the worst possible time.

  3. Isn't the Microsoft Complete (3 Years Extended Warranty) just $69.99, about the cost of a new game? Isn't it worth it??? That's about $23.00 a year for peace of mind.

    First off, sorry to hear you've run into a problem but unfortunately it's the way the world works ( not just with consoles )

    I've been buying Samsung TVs for years now but I know they are not 100% guaranteed to go on forever. Things break, fail, develop faults and I know if it fails after the warrantee ends then I have choices to make which will involve handing over cash.

    Again, sorry to hear about your issues and I understand it can be frustrating but it's just the way it is I'm afraid.

    Firstly Microsoft do not care how long you have been a customer how many Xbox you have bought or certainty not what your gamerscore is !

    What they should care about is the fault and they should be looking to see if its as widespread as you say it is ! Hopefully if it is the case then they could extend the warranty like they did with the rrod and e74 error's on the 360

    If its only a handful of cases then your one of the unlucky ones and will have to bite the bullet and pay for repair or as you've said move on to pastures new which will cost a lot more than what you would be for repair plus you would have to start a new
    gaming collection from scratch..... Your choice but a big price difference when it comes to it and another point if msoft do decide in the future its a common fault and eventually extend the warranty on said fault you might also be able to claim your money
    back!
