    sadly gifting


    I purchased a gift for my friend that lives in same country and when she opened it, the message read that she was unable to accept the gift, and that she needed to contact the seller in order to receive a code because it was purchased in a different region.

    We both live in Belarus but our Xbox determines location such Russia (no location as Belarus) and the payment has been successfully billed and paid in Russian roubles. What can I do now?

    It is going to happen by the fact there will be approved retailers you can sell / trade your games to.

    Restrictions yes, but there will be games sold and resold, just not gifted and re-gifted.

    I also received a gift from a friend. I live in Brazil, and my friend in USA. I can not redeem my gifts.
    Sadly the gifts are region specific this is why. I suggest reaching out to support to see if there is any refund that can be done.

    Regional locked sadly you cannot gift to others in different areas. It's due to transfer of money from what I heard.

    Sadly you cant the only thing you might be able to do is gift with item from the account with the money to the one they use.
