Your going to love the Legendary playthrough, the game really shines then by the end of it you feel absolutely EPIC battering Prateorians! Brilliant game, MP is a good laugh with a mate as well and as a bonus you dont need to own the DLC to play as long
as one of the two players has it your good to go!

I love it great story fantastic gameplay amazing graphics how could you not love it

 

I bought it when it went on sale for a short time (Digital). I would have rather spent the money on fast food now. Boring to the core. I did not finish it and don't know if I ever will.

Over-hyped and glorified graphics that honestly didn't even look that good.

 

^ Yea, that must be why it won an award for best looking title of this generation so far.

 

I'm hoping to play this game this weekend. I might even start tonight.

 

Awards, shmawards. If a Game is boring, it's boring. Ryse did the faces and metal nice, everything else was quite generic and stale.

And the "auto-play" from Button Prompt was definitely a very poor decision for a Game-play element. Put the Controller down and it does it by itself, who thought that was a good idea?

 

^^ Try that method while playing on Legendary and you won't be getting very far.

I recently played through it again on Legendary. There were a couple tricky spots, but overall it's pretty manageable. Started up multiplayer, but it didn't really interest me a whole lot. Only need 5 more achievements, but they are all MP level based.
I think I got to Level 40... need to get to 200. =/

 

Ryse: Son of Rome was amazing. I love the story of Marius, and the play of the gods. Graphically was amazing, the fighting was solid (similar to Batman: Arkham) as well as brutal finishes. Some of the Easter Eggs in Ryse were awesome as well. Great Game!

Eggnogga, I heard that statement a few times and as soon as you would like to explain when it was required to up a difficulty to the hardest setting before a Game has Game-play I be more than happy to listen.

 

I'm not stating anything is required, but you can't just let the QTE's play themselves out on Legendary, because you won't get any health regen if you screw them up. It is pretty much mandatory to get the cut scenes correct if you want to survive on legendary.

If you choose not to play on this difficulty, then that is fine. If you choose not to play the game altogether, that is fine.

 

I loved Ryse. It was only my second game for the One. Had and still have tons of fun with the MP parts. The story was great, short but great. The look of the game is amazing.

 

Eggnogga, thanks that sounds like a great idea. It's perfectly okay if I did not like the Game and found it to be boring, repetitive and overall way over-hyped for what it was. And that is correct, I stopped playing it due to
shear boredom.
