Ryse: Son of Rome to get 4k support!

@brandiesel. I played it through three times in total and never once felt that way about it, first time blasted through just soaking up the next gen graphics, second and most enjoyable time on hard difficulty and paying attention to the story, third time
on easy for collectibles. My experience was different every time and not once did I feel bored because of the gameplay. Conversely DR3 bored the pants of me and to me felt repetitive and boring, with zero chance of dyeing and lack of anything truly engaging.

....for different folks for sure. DR3 bored me to tears as well. Hey if people didn't get bored with Ryse or find it repetitive than great. I was jut giving my opinion of the game.

It all depends on the gamer I guess. There are other games that people find really repetitive that I don't think are, but it's probably because I really like said games. I liked them so much I looked past the repetitiveness or didn't notice it.

 

I tried playing it 3-4 time's before giving in due to a headache.... I never really got to the point of boredom.....only pain lol.

 

Pain is not good, the remake of Duke Nukem pained me sorely!

 

The pain I had was on the very center of my hand on the top (opposite side of palm). Smack dab in the middle.

 

I haven't played Ruse yet but I'm glass it coming to PC.

 

I absolutely loved Ryse: Son Of Rome. The story of Marius Titus was awesome. Truly underrated

 

@bran. My biggest fear is that this affect's me playing a game I really luck forward to playing. If/when Bethesda release Fallout 4, I would be devastated if this happens again. Think I would force Myself to play it.... Hopefully I wouldn't die!

Ryse is the most underrated game I know. Media killed it with bad Reviews but everybody should admit that the Story is awesome and the graphics are the best you find on this Generation of consoles!!!

I wish there was a Ryse 2!!! I would pay $100 for it! Seriously!

 

My PC can't even do 4k not even 1080p. It's 1333x768 resolution. It should be 1080p on Xbox 1. At least my 40' TV is a Full HDTV 1080p. If you're into it, go for it

 

It doenst need to be 1080p its first hand proof that that standard is a load of cobblers, its 900p and looks better than any other game out there.

 

Really glad that this is coming to the PC, now I'll get a chance to play it.

Now if I can just get Microsoft to release the Master Chief Collection, I will be a happy man indeed.

 

Ryse is the best looking game on console to date and yes it is worth £20

 

Brilliant game. Hands down the best Next Gen release on any platform.

Only a pretty game for those that haven't played it.

Only a short game for those who rushed through the campaign on recruit.

Once you've begun to expand your moveset and become fluid with the combos so that you're hitting them before the prompts, that's when the game really takes off.

Of course with it coming to PC we'll all be able to enjoy an experience that looks better than real life as the screen shot below demostrates:
