Ryse: Son of Rome to get 4k support!

lol @pkvas ... i didn't have to search very far .. i know quite a few people who enjoyed Ryse .. it's still one of the best looking games on any console ... and the story is tops. it's easily in my opinion a game you should play on Xbox One.

It's well worth £20 all day long! It's a great game slagged off generally by people who either haven't played or rushed through it on normal on day one. I played it on normal as my first One game and enjoyed it but wasn't massively awed., apart from the
graphics. I played it again a few months later on legendary looking for collectibles and I couldn't get enough of it! Co op arena is brilliant fun with a mate as well.

 

I did play it and it looks amazing I just found it way too repetitive

 

What game isn't repetitive to a point? FPS campaigns repetitive! Racers uber repetitive!

I suggest you search for and watch the xbox one gameplay for Ryse: Son of Rome.

Asking others "is it worth...?" in forums will only get you a lot of back-n-forth, which is often mixed with a great deal of spin/hype.

 

i felt it was a good game, and the only game i've seen on X1/PS4, that i'm like "WOW!", everything else looks good, but Ryse is the only game that stands out.

but even though i thought it was good, i never made it through the second play through, and the multiplayer wasn't fun enough to keep me, i tell people to rent it.

 

Yes it is worth it. The combat is similar to Batman Arkham. Just sword and shield and not flipping around martial arts.

 

It looked good and the story was good, but that's it. I wouldn't rate it higher than a 6.5 and I definitely wouldn't pay more than 20 quid. It lasted a little more than 5 hours and I don't care what anyone says, the gameplay was repetitive. People are lying
if they say it wasn't.

 

Repetitive does not necessarily equal boring.

I completely disagree. Even if all games were repetitive they don't all feel like it because there are a lot of different gameplay variants and at different times to make it not seem that way.

The sense of "man this is repetitive" came on with Ryse more than any other game I can think of in a long long time.

Some games might become repetitive after a long time, but after an hour or so is not good.

 

I was never able to play Ryse for more than half an hour, It made My head feel like it was being crushed. I don't suffer fro anything like motion sickness and My eyesight is perfect but it gave me a banging head. Never had this happen with game before....ever.
Watching 3D movies has the same affect on me though.

 

^^ That's weird because my hand hurt playing Ryse as well. It never hurt before while playing a game. Never before and never after.
