Ryse: Son Of Rome Is Officially The Best Looking Next Gen Game

@x7SNOOPY7x Yes Ive played it locked it just isnt as smooth. I deal with the dips but my point is the all powerful console shouldn't struggle with this. Right?

@Merlin.....I will call you out on your statement. I played through TLOU on 60 fps and it doesn't struggle at all. I barely noticed a dip here and there.

 

I'm actually impressed with how many friends played the Ryse story & really liked it. The most common negative was it's too short, which means they wanted more of it.

I still enjoy the Co-op, especially the Survival mode where it is an onslaught of enemies.

 

Even though graphics are and never will be the most important thing for me but having played quite a few new gen games now on various platforms I agree with this article.

Stunning looking game and for me it was absolutely brilliant to play aswell.

Hope we see a Ryse 2 one day.

 

Just finished my second play through of TLOU, not even a stutter locked or unlocked, try harder.

As for ryse,enjoyed first play through but too repetitive too keep playing, looks lush though.

 

@mgzin I'm not sure how you didn't notice but yeah it does badly in places. Many of the shadows look bad as well when it isn't locked at 30. But like I said it wasn't t enough to distract from the game. I was just trying to make a point to snoopy.

 

Ryse: Son of Rome. It is gorgeous but also has substance. I loved the story. And getting in the coliseum with a friend is fun. Congrats Crytek.

 

Cannot say I'm surprised by this at all. As a huge pc player as well as xbox one, I am still yet to see a game that has the cinematic experience and graphics displayed in Ryse. A truly impressive peice of gaming art. And an enjoyable game as well. Had a
lot of fun in the arena on this one.

 

This was the second game I had for the One. I loved it and still like the MP part of it. The game is by far the best looking one out there. Sure there were times the game button mashing gold a little old. I just switched back and played my other game when
it did. I still put that game in when someone asks me about the Xbox. If they come over and see it I say take a look at this.
