ryse not installing

Hi. im having problems with my xbox one (again). this time its the disk. ive got ryse and ive put it into my xbox one but after 3 hours its still at 0%. couple times ive had to restart the instalation because it has stopped. any ideas on problem

I bought ryse on friday 7/25, the install kept pausing, so much so, that it took pretty much two day for it to download from a disc. After it was installed the update from xbox live would not download, stating that the update failed, ive tested my connection,
cleared my cache(held the power button). Mind you i also bought bf4, wolfenstien, titanfall, an forza 5. Every other game works fine and took like and hour at the most to download completely. So i took back ryse and downloaded it from the store itself and
yet not luck i run ito the same problem now that its downloaded please help!

I too had the same problem. I didn't realize that there was a paused installation I couldn't get rid of Until earlier yesterday. No matter how many times you select resume installation it stays paused. And the red install bar In the game stayed at 75% I
done a factory reset, that took care of the paused install and installed the game with no connection. Works fine for me now.

 

If it shows up in your "games and apps" , uninstall it, then I would do a hard reset on the xbox, then I would unplug the internet and try to reinstall the game, if it installs all the way, then reconnect the internet for the update.

 

its not even installed. so i should. turn xbox off, internet off, and see..... i am sick and tired of something always going wrong with this xbox

 

nope. no luck. wont even start to install without internet

 

It doesn't/shouldn't need an internet connection to install......might be a disc or drive issue? only that game give you a problem?

 

I had the same issue, so I uninstalled the game,ejected the disc, held the power button down for a few seconds to do a system restart, unhooked my internet, then restarted the X One and reinserted the disc, the game installed in about an hour, than asked
for the internet to be re connected for the update.

Then the real wait started, all day saturday, sunday and now monday for the damn update to finish, this system is a huge let down

 

I have the same issue as "TUGGERMAN", Brand new never used DAY ONE EDITION Xbox, and placed RYSE in to play, I'm on DAY 2 (35+hours), and the installation is only at like 80%. I have a DSL connection and a decent speed. Not understanding this at all. Is
this a common occurrence or just a one in a million... Also does anyone know if this is happening to all games or just RYSE? If this is common i'm going back to my reliable PS3/PS4...... HELP....
