Ryse-Not applying gold after an online game

Thank you for coming to the Xbox forums. I've researched this issue and found that this issue has been around for a while and the game gets bugged when your console's system location and language settings don't match. This is common if your preferred language
is different than the native language of the country you reside in. For example, if your location is set to Canada and your language is set to English (United States), you're going to get the error. You need to set your language to English (Canada) so that
it matches your location. I found two older reddit threads confirming this worked for them:

just wanted to add that I am having the same problem. I have played with a friend and we have made sure, that language settings etc. were the same. The thing is we - and as read in other forums - people were able to earn gold before.

Thank you for giving us the hint for contacting crytek support but I will give you their response which is on the official "Ryse son of rome" website where they say:

"SYMPTOMS

• Xbox One Version ONLY !!!!
• Can't earn Gold
• Message: “Xbox live is having some problems at the moment.”

CAUSE
This error is caused by the language region independence, introduced in the Microsoft Xbox One update.

RESOLUTION
Set your region to your actual location (Xbox One settings>System>Language and Region) and, change the language to match your region.

IMPORTANT: All the gold that you should have earned in the past while you got the error is now lost forever, so unfortunately this fix doesn't work retroactively!

Please note that the Xbox One Version of RYSE - Son of Rome is NOT officially supported by Crytek Customer Support.

Please contact Microsoft Support for any further assistance."

As you can see clearly (language setting won't change anything btw.) under "more information" they say "please contact Microsoft Support". Seems like your and their customer support try to confuse the customer.

What is worse in this case "Ryse Son Of Rome" was kind prestige game for the Xbox One for release and especially the multiplayer was ment to be "a thing" for this game. It would be sad - even if the game is 6 years old now - if there wasn't a better solution.

Also, the game is in game pass, for people who want to try this out and try out an xbox one exclusive game it would be a big mess if this is their first experience, especially if they want to play it with a friend.

Not it. This is happening to several people. This started up last year about the same time.

And yes, I have checked language settings.

Have you contacted Crytek to report this issue? It would be up to them to patch this issue with an update. Their contact email is listed here

Other than that you can go ahead and report the issue on your Xbox through the Xbox Insider Hub app. Download the app and then follow the instructions from the following link

I would recommend emailing Crytek and getting an official response from them about their support for this game.
