Ryse Multiplayer Texture Issues

Ok so I already posted this in the Ryse: Son of Rome forums but no one's helped me yet so I came here. Whenever I play Ryse multiplayer and equip the Mars Sword it always has blurry textures when using it and it looks like a sword straight out of Minecraft.
My friend has the same issue as well. Can this be fixed or is it just going to be like that?

Well, CoD's primary focus is on multiplayer and Ryse then again costs twice as much as this MGS. That said, cost/hour ratio is likely quite similar in MGS and Ryse, but I dont think MGS has multiplayer? I find myself pretty hooked to Ryse multiplayer

 

I can see anecdotally on some third party sites that you're not the only person who has that issue, although I've never experienced it myself (having put in substantial head cutting off hours) on the multiplayer. There's the possibility of reinstalling
the game, but beyond that not sure what else to suggest. Do you have any other texture issues, such as arena's not loading fully? It may not be a widespread issue, but you've done the right thing posting it in the Ryse forums. I hope a member of the team can
support you.

 

i had this exact issue when using the same sword.

I ended up having to re-install the complete game.

- i have the disc based game.

not a nice prospect, but it worked for me.

 

reinstall and hard reset my friend see what happens

 

If I reinstall will I have to restart everything? Or will all my progress through campaign and multiplayer be saved?

 

You wouldn't delete your save file, but even if you did it's backed up in the cloud and can be synced back to the console when you start it up again.

I know this is old and everything, but I wanted to know if anyone can confirm the suggested answer? oh and by the way hard resetting is when you press and hold the Xbox button on the console right? And if I have dlc should I delete it as well or just the
base game

Please make sure not to avoid bumping older threads, as the last post in this thread is from 2014. I would certainly suggest giving the game a re-install to see if that helps clear up the trouble you're having. If you're still running into trouble after
