Ryse game code not received yet!

    Hello again,

this is the 2nd time i have made a post here, and I hope this time I get an answer.

I saw the free Ryse game promotion so I ran down to the shop and bought a 1 month pre-paid code because I do not have a Credit card.

Here is the confirming email from xbox: We're sending this message to confirm that you have successfully activated Xbox LIVE Prepaid 1 month Gold Membership Card on Wednesday, 9 December 2015. Here are the details.

Now, I saw the promotion, and I followed the prompts, and finally it asked me to choose a method of payment. I chose the code. In NO WAY did it state that a CREDIT CARD was a PRE-REQUISITE to getting the free RYSE game. And I followed the prompts through
the Ryse promotion page anyway, and they offered a way of paying via pre-paid code (as I mentioned above) I repeat: there was nothing said about credit cards.

I strongly believe that I am owed the Ryse game because I followed the rules and the promotional prompts, and maybe the xbox IT tech guys failed to state the Credit card requisite, and they failed because they included the option to pay for xbox live
via pre-paid code. So there you go. PLease send me the game code ASAP because it's been over 6 weeks now.

    Sincerely

Brett Dacre aka ViktorUber (xbox live login)

    :)

Promotional Ryse code not received yet

    Hi there

I joined up on xbox live gold back in 9 December 2015 specifically to get the free copy of Ryse. The following is a cut and paste from my email account from MS:

"We're sending this message to confirm that you have successfully activated Xbox LIVE Prepaid 1 month Gold Membership Card on Wednesday, 9 December 2015. Here are the details:"

So I have looked around the forums and seen that it may take up to 4-6 weeks to get the code via my email that is linked to my username. Well, it has been exactly 5 weeks so far and there has been no Ryse code arrive yet.

I hope it arrives in the next week or two as I am dead keen to play Ryse on Xbox one.

    Kind regards

    aka 'Brett'

    Hi!

I clicked on the ad on the xbox one home page to get Ryse the legendary edition for my first purchase of xbox live, but I have not received my code yet. Can you help me out?

For any promotions on Live, you have to make the purchase through Live in order to qualify. Redeeming a prepaid code does not qualify as a purchase so it is not eligible.

    Hi

Ok so you said this..."For any promotions on Live, you have to make the purchase through Live in order to qualify. Redeeming a prepaid code does not qualify as a purchase so it is not eligible."

So why don't you make this obvious to customers? Why not say the truth, something like this.............. "You will get a free game if you upload a credit card and use credit card to make purchases through Xbox live. This way, we can debit your credit card
every month for Xbox live gold membership, and it will also make small purchases much easier for you, the dear customer, and whose Credit card numbers we cherish."

This way, I would understand the promotion. I spent a lot time fussing over this, emailing and tweeting over this, and using energy by worrying over this. I must learn from this or I will become a resentful, muttering old man.

So thank you, sincerely, Smwutches, for clarifying this for me.

    See you in the game!
