Ryse 2

Despite the financial crysis over at Crytek and many game projects being cancelled including Ryse 2, does anyone think that after they get everything sorted out that they could possibly reboot the Ryse 2 project?

Many great games are released with sequels already planned. Some are started as trilogies etc. Look at Halo. It is silly to assume the developers have no idea if their own game is good or not. They may have more of a clue than some one, online who has never
even played it!

[/quote]True but Devs also need to learn when to keep their mouth shut instead of trying to hype something that has barely seen scratch paper yet.

 

I highly doubt they are just going to can all the things they have set in motion. I'm sure we will see a Ryse 2 some day. Hopefully with a longer campaign.

If Crytek wants money, they will sell Microsoft the IP. Then Microsoft can make the sequel.

 

..Does anyone care? Its Ryse. It's spelled with a Y. It's jsut as bad as using the number 3 to say "E."

 

Ryse sold decently enough. It had some really good ideas. With some refinements, a sequel could explode. It wasn't a bad game at all.

Stupid title or not, it's a good enough game.

 

I haven't bought it yet but from what I've played, it's a lot of fun and looks amazing. Yeah, it's repetitive, but I really like the Roman setting and the brutal combat. I think with a better, longer campaign it could become a great Xbox Exclusive title.
If Crytek can't afford to make it then hopefully Microsoft will make sure it comes out.

 

I enjoyed Ryse a lot. I'd love to see a sequel one day.

I'm waiting til it drops below $30, the game looks amazing and I enjoyed what little I played but from what I've read it's short and doesn't have much replay value. I just picked up AC: Black Flag for $24.99 on Amazon, now that's a deal.

 

Black wolf the microsoft store has AC4 for $19.99 look it up! i might get it!
