    First of all, to rule out that the console is incorrectly detecting a non-open NAT, restart your console AND your router/modem. Restart the console by holding the power button for 10 seconds to turn it off, and then unplug your modem and router (or combined
    gateway) from power and re-insert the power cord. After your internet connection is restored, start the console again.

    If you continue to have a non-open NAT, you need to try configure your router for an open NAT. The site
    Setup a port forward in your router to allow incoming connections for multiplayer games, VOIP, DVR, and security cameras. has instructions for many routers. Also, if you got your router from your Internet provider, contact their support for instructions on how to get an open NAT with their router.

    Also, it might be, that your Internet Provider ran out of IPv4 adresses and tunnels IPv4 via CG-NAT and DS-Lite. In that case, your only option is to contact your ISP and ask them to give you a real dual-stack internet connection, or change internet providers.

    Perform a hard reset EXACTLY like this.

    Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

    While the console is off unplug your router for 3 to 4 minutes then restart it and when everything is synced up try again.
