Running Times

I love my new xbox one, feels much more stable and cooling better than the 360, however I still feel weird running netflixs or playing games long than an hour or so. Anyone play much longer and does it seem to run fine during marathon sessions?

timer keeps running!

I started the daily tournament today. I played 9 games and it took 25 minutes and 45 seconds. I left to do some things and came back to resume playing. The timer now says 3 hours 54 minutes. Shouldn’t the timer be keeping track of time played? Not entire
time elapsed since starting. This happens constantly and is so frustrating I cannot even finish today's tournament. It’s pointless now. I see other comments here and there about this and don't know where to direct this in case it is a bug that someone
should know about. I can't seem to connect with an actual person. The tournament is really fun but not at all lately since not all of us have the luxury of sitting for an hour + to just play this game.

 

Running time on world event games

I played 21 mins & 30 sec on yesterday world event Hard Rock (28/11/17) australia wst. I completely logged out of game overnight. Logged in to continue with event played for 45 mins, I checked my progress it says 9 hrs 21 mins, how can this be. I'm frustrated
& angry that I can't seem to get far when u see the top time done in at least 1 hr 30 min. WHY DOES THE TIME RUN ON. YOUR EVENTS GOES FOR 24 HRS IT SHOULD HAVE SOMETHING THERE FOR DIFFERENT TIME ZONES. MY HUBBY HAS THE SAME PROBLEM. THIS FORUM AREA IS
FOR BASIC SUPPORT INFO NOT FOR TECHNICAL SUPPORT, WHICH YOU GUYS SEEM TO SEND US TOO WHEN YOU CAN'T BE UP FRONT & HONEST TO SAY WE DONT HAVE THE REAL ANSWER, WE'LL LOOK INTO IT AT LEAST WE KNOW THAT YOU TAKEN NOTICE OF OUR PROBLEMS. PLZ FIX IT too stop frustrated
gamers complaining.

 

I marathon everyday "after work that is" and my console is fine. I have logged many many a hours already. If I knew the number exact I'm sure it would be embarrassing!

 

I am not sure what justification you have to feel weird about it with not one report of overheating (that I have heard). But I marathon on the weekend and I have never had one issue.

Well your right I haven't heard of a single over-heating issue, just so used to the little warnings on other machines that used to say take a break after an hour or so lol

 

Those warnings are still in place in the fine print. It now stands to get your blood moving here and there. Not health to sit around as much as we do
