    Running out of HDD Space - Coming to an Xbox One, Near You Soon?


    74.3% Used - I'm the first to admit, I've probably got a few more games than the average user, Still I should not be having to start thinking of uninstalling games so soon after launch, I've not even got any Movies downloaded on it yet.

    I hope the external storage solution arrives soon. I hope they make it fully open, So we can use the USB 3.0 4TB drives to store our whole games collection, Without swapping drives for a while to come.

    I see. Rather limiting though, I'd need maybe 2 or 3 USB flash drives for what I wanted. Another reason I prefer PC's over consoles.

    If that is the case then you should upgrade your internal hard drive to the 250gb.

    The largest one for the org 360 model. They will run you around 75-100$ depending where you are looking.

    Is there any way to delete stuff, I've got COD demo and need for Speed installed which I no longer own so that is taking up pointless space?

    Go to Games & Apps, Highlight the demo, Press Start Button, Click Uninstall.

    I find it baffling that you have to install games and they only give you 500gb. what were they thinking? so annoying. especially as some games give you a mandatory install for DLC that you may not want access to (BF4?).

    I had to drop "Tomb Raider" and "Assassin's Creed: Black Flag" to load up "Wolfenstein" which only just fit.

    I'm going to have to jettison a further 40 - 50GB when "Watchdogs" arrives.

    We need a Storage Solution NOW, forget waiting until E3.

    The only thing is what does "soon" mean?

    "Soon" as in soon it shall be dark tonight or "Soon" as in sometime soon our sun shall grow cold and no longer be able to support life on Earth?

    Wouldn't mind extra storage. Going digital with games is just so much easier.

    How is going digital easier? It's a larger install and you have to be online for the install meaning the game tries to install and patch at the same time.

    No, digital has it's perks but you still can't beat disc.
