Running original xbox games in 720p on Xbox 360

Would the original Xbox game look better in composite since it was designed to play in composite?

Original Xbox games run in 720P HD resolution when running on the 360. If you connected up a 360 to a modern HDTV with a composite cable the image quality will be really bad and will have no impact on any screen tearing anyway.

Could be, is it only Xbox One that can run original games in HD?

Original xbox games that play on the 360 don't run very well at all which is why they stopped adding them.They weren't upscaled or optimised at all so look & play pretty terrible on the 360 & on a HD TV.

The original xbox games that play on the xbox one are upscaled & optimised to run a lot better.

It also depends on the game,you have to remember that a lot of original xbox games were only in 480p which looks great on a CRT TV but not so good on a HD TV.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. Is it possible you are seeing the gameplay off an Xbox one? You can also try going into your settings>system settings>Console settings>Display>HDTV settings and select format on a Xbox 360 console.
