  1. Running 120hz on asus tuf vg27vq on series x HELP

Hey guys I just got the Xbox series x and had this monitor for a few months now, I’m pretty sure it supports 120hz through HDMI but when I click auto detect it doesn’t detect it, and when I manually override it to HDMI I am able to click the 120hz but the option for FreeSync is greyed out and calll of duty seems to almost stutter or lag when I have it 120hz manually enabled, just trying to get some input on what to maybe try or if my monitor is even compatible

    I think I messed up

The TUF Gaming VG27AQ 27-inch monitor is one of the impressive builds from the ASUS line-up. It has a native refresh rate of 144Hz and a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz. The device is powered by FreeSync and is G-Sync (NVIDIA Certified) compatible. The device offers a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1440 and offers wider viewing angles.

even in the manual it stated adaptive sync which is usually both, the reason they are showing with gsync is that its on the nvidia approved list, but apparently it has all.

also some people chatting about how to set it up for series x

Xbox Series X - No 120HZ option on any resolution.

I have same issue but with my Acer Nitro VG271 144Hz. Xbox series X won’t run at 120Hz 1080p. That must be problem with xbox series x because works perfect with Asus RX480 8GB (144Hz 1080p HDMI2.0). I am very dissapointed. 60hz is a joke.

Will Xbox series x/s have more monitors that run 1440p @ 120hz than current gen consoles?

Hi ! Do you know if Xbox series X will support and run in 1440p/120hz with a MSI Optix MAG27CQ ?

    Thanks for your help :)

    1440 @120hz or 4K HDR @60hz

Altough the Xbox One X supports 1440 and 120Hz, games are not going to run on 120Hz, console is not prepared for that yet.

So my best advice is to go for 4K HDR if your monitor supports it, and when the Series X is released, you will be able to use 1440/120Hz!

Redeeming Gift Code but get a "Georestricted error"

It's a physical Xbox gamepass card (there's 2) sold with the Asus Tuf Gaming.
