Rumor: The Division's Beta Coming in March; Initially Exclusive to Xbox One

If you’re excited for Tom Clancy’s The Division, we might get to catch a glimpse on it soon enough according to industry insider Shinobi602, who is quite consistent in the credibility of the information provided by his sources.

Asked how long the delay for other platforms will be, Shinobi answered “Not too long.”

This shouldn’t come too much as a surprise, considering that Ubisoft has been working with Microsoft quite closely in the past few months, after switching over from a previous marketing agreement with Sony for
Watch_Dogs.

Of course, as usual, we should treat this kind of insider information with a grain of salt, and consider it a rumor for the moment, but hopefully we’ll get official word soon.

Eh, I'm starting to get irritated with Epic. First, they're making beta characters non-exclusive and now (I heard a rumor) a gold weapons pack is coming out. Having my exclusive weapon skins is nice, I worked hard for my stuff Epic!

 

Funny how Ubisoft has switched over to MS for marketing yet Far Cry 4 was marketed for PS4.

Shinobi has been wrong about a few things in the past.

Ubisoft generally contracts their beta tests out to VMC, sounds weird they are doing one thats open and are not advertising it.

Expect the beta to be god awful. Ubisoft betas are notorious for being trash, just like some of their releases.

Edit: Also article is also from early November and still after two months Ubisoft has yet to comment about this. Sounds weird.

 

If they have a beta i want in on this..no worries 24 if i get in i'll make sure when it's released it will be 100% bug and glitch free lol

 

I would be surprised if there's a public beta any time soon. Akame is correct about Ubi betas.
