    Rumor: Red Dead Redemption 2 – Coming to Next-Gen?


    Red Dead Redemption, it was and still is the western of the last Gen consoles. An open world game which was a twist of GTA, released by none other Rockstar. With the game being a big success, there is rumor in the mill which suggests Read Dead Redemption
    will be making a reappearance soon

    I would have paid money to see the faces of the kids who sent John Marsten running to the nearest whorehouse only to hear him declare "I'm sorry lady, I'm a married man".

    Great game on the 360.

    A new version on the ONE should be excellent.

    I'd love to see a new one. If it is happening, I think it will be a couple more years at least. You know how Rockstar is.

    Did Red Dead Redemption ruin Revolver?

    Most likely the next one wont really tie into the other stories either. Same universe new characters/story.

    While I don't think it would "ruin" RDR, I agree to not release/do RDR2. That was done. Let's move onto something new/different. I'm tired of game developers not being tested into trying new/better things. We, gamers, constantly let them off the hook
    by purchasing video game sequels. I'm sure Rockstar could come up with an awesome idea for a new IP.

    It's not like it would be a direct sequel where you play as Jack Marsten. Rockstar doesn't do direct sequels. It would just be a western set in the Red Dead universe. One that I would greatly look forward to, I might add.

    i would love another open world western. whether or not it's a sequel to or set in the same universe as the red dead series matters very little to me...i would love to play as a mustache twirling dudley do-right villain as well.
