Rubber pieces under Xbox

So several months ago, I managed to send the original controller in under the console's warranty and got a replacement. All was good until today....

New controller started peeling on the left side - so much for hoping Microsoft solved the problem with the replacement.

For those that suggest krazy or super glue - how do you get the rubber piece to lay back flat in the place?

Had mine for a year, right rubber grip has fallen off,. top left bumper left side broke off, right top bumper sticks, left rubber pad beginning to detach. I paid $150 for this piece of junk a year ago from amazon. I will never buy
another controller form Microsoft again.

No I have never abused the controller.

I have the ex-04 for the ps3, the xbox 360 one looks identical and i really like it. It fits in the ear great as it comes with 3 different size rubber pieces. Sound quality is good and not had any complaints from friends etc.

I thought it was great value for less than £10.

I bought little rubber pads at Radioshack for 2 dollars and I stick them (one side is sticky) under the console for more airflow. They are only like 3/8 of an inch, but they definitely put more space under the console.

This seems to be a regular problem with rubber grips, sadly. People are regularly having issues with them coming off of the Elite controller. If it's under warrantly, definitely contact Microsoft/Design Labs again to get it fixed. I have an Xbox Design
Labs controller myself, but without the rubber grips. Sorry you're having issues with them. Hopefully you've had it for a long time at least and got some good out of them so far.
