    My friend has just began streaming, but on his Xbox One. I use PC to stream my games and have never done it through Xbox One. Now he streams using the Twitch app. But i have this RTMP Server which i can use to stream his stream to Twitch with having
    some extra enhancements! How do i do this?

    Xbox One X Broadcasting problems

    Hi there Altis,

    It doesnt appear to be a connection problem at all, You would need to see your bitrate setting, and your upload speed. If your upload speed is 10mb/s then you can stream at 2800kb/s as a bit rate.

    But if your upload is only a 5mb/s then stream at 2000kb/s.

    The only question about your connection would be if its fibre, or ADSL for cable. on ADSL you'd have to check what your upload and download is while playing a game or doing other actions.

    On your router though, make sure that the correct ports are open for twitch. you
    only really need Outbound TCP port 1935 for twitch RTMP.

    Have you tested out streaming on the mixer app?

    Hello Richard, I believe it is not possible, you would have to have a PC with a capture card so you could configure the RTMP protocol correctly between the devices.

    As not all equipment provides and requires port forwarding on the router, many people prefer not to use it.

    Xbox says I'm broadcasting to mixer, but the mixer web page says I'm offline

    I did a little digging and found this on their status page.

    Resolved - we have the issue mitigated for the moment. users should not be affected. we will continue to monitor

    Investigating - we are currently investing users unable to go live on Mixer.com in the north east region of the US. This only affects FTL, RTMP appears to be fully operational

    So there WAS an issue, but seemed to only affect streamers within the US North East Region, which I fell into.

    Most likely this is your issue as well, so should be working now!
