RROD all over again

Apparently Microsoft just doesn't know how to make consoles that do not break, I went through 4 360s with the RROD and now I have a X1X that will no longer show a signal because the hdmi chipset has gone bad. And you know the thanks a loyal 10+ year customer
gets.... the generic "I'm so sorry to hear that sir", but not only the slap in the face they also kick you while you're down with saying "rest assured the 300$ repair service is 100% guaranteed to work"! [mod removed] was the 500$ I paid for the console not
good enough?! But alas I do not blame M$ it is my stupidity to stick with a company when they obviously could not careless about us, and yes I do know the trillion company will not give a [mod removed] that I'm gone, even when it is to go to the competition,
they already got my money and spit in my face I get it, but they can "rest assured" that I will never be back with the xbox brand again.

... okay that's great man, I've never had an issue with my playstations, and guess I'll never have another issue with a xbox either, being burnt on 5 consoles kinda gets to you.

Have you tried a factory reset on the console yet? If there's an error with the video card then that should fix it.

sad to hear about that, i've that problem on 360 and they change my console for free, and now, with 2 One S and 1 One X, no problem with them..i guess it's bad luck...

I’m just running down a quick troubleshoot list in my head so if you’ve done them....no worries.

1) Swapping HDMI cables

2) Changing to a different HDMI port

3) For giggles, trying it on a friends TV

again....most likely you have done or tried one or all but who knows...might save the hassle of dealing with a repair. Xbox 360s had plenty of issues back in the day, but i havent heard of many issues with the X lately. Give it a shot and see if any of that
works

I did man, at first I thought it was just something with my tv or my hdmi, once I ruled that out I thought well maybe it had something to with my settings and did an reset once that didnt fix it I realized just how screwed I was.
