    Routine “Invite to Game” function grayed out


    I have routinely had the “Invite to Game” function grayed out, preventing me from inviting other players to my game. Some times a hard console reset resolves this, but some times it does not however it eventually resolves on its own after I’ve moved on
    to something else (as in, shut my console down for the evening). I’ve seen this issue reported on in several threads over the years but it’s not easy to see what the solution is or why it continually occurs. Is this a known issue for Microsoft to fix, when
    will it be fixed, and is there any other identified work-around beyond resetting your console?

    What game are you playing exactly?

    What game mode are you playing? Some game modes don't support inviting players to that specific game mode.

    Hi Garre1, are you under Xbox Live Gold sub ? Are you in a game that allow invit other people ? People who were invited were online ?

    Hav you checked your NAT type? If your NAT type is moderate or strict, it can cause such problems.

    Hit your home button, tab over to settings, then network settings, and check NAT type.
