Router for multiple xboxs on one network

I'm getting ready to buy a new router and wanted to get feedback on routers that would support two xboxs on one network. I'm looking at the netgear nighthawk 6 ac3200. But would buy a cheaper one if it would work as well. Thanks for any feedback.

You have 2 xbox ones on the same network ? What kind of modem and router are you using ? Router must support multiple consoles or your Xboxs will just fight over ports. ..

Went from open nat to strict

Do you have more than one Xbox connected to your network? Such as a Xbox360..... If so disconnect the Xbox360 from the router and reset Xbox one and router. Then see what happens. Some routers don't allow for multiple xboxs to play well together on the same
network. There are many things that can cause Nat issues and can take some time to figure it out.

Most will do it just fine, I have a basic n netfear router and it works just fine with 2 ones on the network together. If you run into an issue check your ports and your mtu threshold.

Check if you are using multiple consoles. Not all routers allow you to use multiple Xbox One consoles on the same network. If you have multiple Xbox One consoles and your router doesn't allow you to use multiple consoles, you will either need to use only one console at a time, or you will need to upgrade to a new router that allows you to connect multiple Xbox One consoles.

So are there multiple xbox one's in your home? The same network? If they are in your home that could be an issue. Some routers can't handle multiple xbox's connected.

If that's not it let us know.

The firmware on some routers does not support having multiple consoles being connected to the network.

As for the Xbox One, we don't have any details on how they will work with an Xbox 360 on routers that currently do not support multiple consoles, but I would still recommend getting a router that has confirmed multiple console support to be safe.
