Router disconnecting randomly on MP games on xb1elite console

Been having a issue for a while now whilst playing division and other MP games my router disconnects for a few minutes,I'm on broadband and etherneted doesn't seem to happen with other devices like 360.I've system cached etc but still happens is a anyone
else experiencing this too.

Xbox Live Randomly Disconnects

I was just randomly disconnected from Xbox Live again, so I can confirm this is STILL happening.

Also, I can't test plugging it physically into the router because I'm on the other side of the house, that's the 1 test I can't run. But then again it's disconnecting randomly, so I can't really "test" it at all.

I've also power-cycled my modem and router multiple times, this doesn't help.

 

It has been 24 hours of xbox live disconnection problem

I don't think the disconnecting thing has to do with todays event. It was occurring 2 days ago.

And my internet before that was fine, have restarted router and tried fixing stuff, but nothing works to stop it from disconnecting randomly.

I'm united kingdom region I've got a hub 1 broadband with upnp enabled ports support xbl both xb1 and 360 are etherneted to the router NAT open,I don't get any error codes just disconnecting randomly.I've been intouch with ISP and they tested my line and
have said there's no fault on it but do see occasionally the connection drops a engineer came out and said all was OK with the connection to the router and outside line,so I'm at a loss now what to do

When you say it kicks your router off, does your entire network stop working? Meaning, if you ping google.com or something like that, does it stop replying? And / or, does your Xbox 360 stop working when the router disconnects?

If yes then you likely have something wrong with your hub or router. I would try bypassing the hub first, and only using the router to see if the problems continue. If they do, then I would suggest getting with your router manufacturer or ISP to get something
else.

If everything but the Xbox one does stay connected during these outages, then it could be something with the connection to the Xbox One. Are you wireless or wired? If you're wireless can you plug in via network cable to see if the drops keep happening? If
they do, then you could have some wireless interference that is kicking your Xbox off. if it's wired I would try a different port on your hub / router, and/or a different network cable.

Hi hydro skillet,the entire network goes down and xb1 dash says no network I'm wired but tbh it hasn't happened when I've used my 360 and that's wired too,I've been suspecting my router tbh but also after reading awhile ago someone else on forums thought
maybe it too was there xb1 sometimes it will disconnect on single player games too just random.

 

Hi, so your Xbox randomly disconnects from your network, sometimes simply clearing the alternate MAC address on the Xbox can fix that.

On the Xbox go to settings/ all settings/ network/ advanced settings/ alternate MAC address. Select the clear option and then the restart option and see if things improve any.

Another thing to try is removing and adding your account back to the Xbox.

If your entire network is going down when this happens, then the cause is something in the router. It could be one of the Xbox ports or services "confuses" it, but it's hard to say. What is certain is there is something wrong with your router. I would
recommend contacting your ISP or router manufacturer. Tell them exactly what happens, and that your entire home network goes down with this.

 

I am also facing the same trouble when xbox is turned ON, the router goes into a limbo while reconnecting back. The moment I turn my xbox off the router is connected back. I checked with the broadband service providers, they ran certain checks from their
end and confirmed that there is nothing wrong in the router, I also got convinced to that point as the router is fairly new and when I connect my 2 laptops & 2 smartphone there was never any issue from the router, I am comfortably able to stream Netflix, Youtube
from all these devices at the same time. I got a pointer from the broadband service providers that there might be an issue with the server which Xbox is connected due to which it is causing this issue. Did anyone tried approaching Xbox support team on, Any
advise is greatly appreciated.
