Round in circles.

Having received a notification of an enforcement having been placed on my sons account I went on to check it out. And this is where I got on the merry go round. Nowhere could I find what he had reportedly said or done other than communication. I was pushed
to click family as it's a child account then pushed back around when I tried to find access to the case review option? Round and round without ever finding the elusive case refer option. I asked my son what he'd done and he said that an adult had basically
verbally abused him as he'd asked him to stop throwing him off a cliff and let him carry on with his fellow team mates. The adult had then reported him to get rid of him as he wasn't as good at the game as the adult.

I can understand it may be frustrating if you are in a game with players of differing abilities but using the reporting system to flex your muscles is more childish than some of your opponents are in age. My sons enjoyment playing with his other teenage
and adult friends is curtailed by the pettiness of one player who in my opinion far more deservedly should have got the enforcement than my son. But due to the rubbish enforcement access he will have no redress. IT seems that the enforcement system needs an
overhaul to make it much easier to see what you have been reported for and the evidence and given the opportunity to argue against it before any enforcement is is meted out?

That's not how enforcement actions work.

It takes more than a single report from someone to warrant a suspension.

Multiple complaints from various players who meet specific criteria (i.e. all of the complaints came from a group of players who are not all on a friends list).

Advise your son to serve his suspension and inform him that further offenses will increase the length of the suspension or worse, removal from the service altogether.

Not true.It only takes one valid report for someone to get suspended.

You wont ever get suspended for being "bad" at a game.If that was the case I would of been banned years ago.

https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-GB is the only place to enquire about suspensions.Not all suspensions are eligible for a case review.

he doesn't really have a choice than to serve the suspension and he's barred the particular player from his games so he won't have to play in the same game as him again. It's just a shame that there's not an interim stage to an enforcement as it seems you
don't have a say before it is imposed. Surely there should be a chance to sort it out before they slap a communication ban on someone?

E3, can't have any negative discussion, no matter how deserving about MS, Enforcement or even games not working while the console is in offline mode because we want people to see MS etc as 'good' and not bad.

OP, like you. I have been reported as well, but I stopped playing MP games online after a former ? explained how MS Enforcement actually worked. Setup lobbies, Socially enept individuals, etc all cater to enforcements catch 29, so no matter how nice you
are, you lose!

I only have the use of one hand and was trying my best to play games like Halo 4, DOA, Mortal Kombat etc online, little did I know until someone PM'd me that my REP was beeing negatively effected by random gamers reporting me as. "Unsporting" etc and how
that bad rep would effect me if/when I decided to own an xbox one. I could go on, but I think its high time to have outside oversite.

One way to do that is to have ratted M games carry the M rating even in online play. Do that and those who are easiely offended wouldn't have even a bases to complain from.

Last, no more block and report. Just block only. The system would then never allow the blocked person to communicate or be matched in a game with the person ever. The way it (enforcement) is now, is a money maker. (business model)

How many times can you get a communications etc ban before being permabanned? And the vast majority of them simply get a new account, gold, games etc and soldier on... So enforcement actions, whether deserved or not, is in essence a micro to macro $ maker

WE DESERVE BETTER, far far BETTER than what we're getting. Especially those handicapped gamers who while themselves are having fun, unknowingly to them are being 'reported' and often verbably attacked by those who take gaming so serious that its your fault
they lost the match, yet if you even try to defend yoursels and in so doing use even 1 of their words, even in quotation marks in the reply back. Banhammer!

Seems to be happening a lot.A couple of threads you said were reported weren't showing up as reported for me,like this one.

I've seen some that showed up as reported then a few hours later weren't reported.

I find it hard to believe there's some kind of bug or glitch with these high quality forums!!!!
