Rotating Pictures in Media Player App

Apologies that I didn't find the right specific forum for this. This should be obvious but I'm just not finding it. How do you rotate pictures in the Xbox One Media Player App? Without being able to rotate the pictures, it is rather useless for showing
photos, but I just can't figure out what the controls are for doing the rotation. I must be missing something totally obvious here.

Xbox One OS/UI features you still miss in the monthly updates

They also need to update their media player app. There is no sorting option when looking at pictures or browsing your music.

Corrected when trying to stream music on my XBOX One from my PC using media player app, I do this because playlists are also playable, the music files are no longer found. Video files and picture files are still able to be streamed. I am wondering since
the add of music to onedrive and xbox music did they remove the ability to stream music with media player. on another note the media player on the One is awful compared the players on the 360.

That's because the OneDrive App for the console doesn't allow offline storage.

If you wish to have videos and pictures available offline, you should copy them on an external USB drive on your PC, and then attach that drive to your console.

Then you can use the Media Player app on the console to watch videos and pictures from that drive.

Hi, on the Xbox store there should be an app called "Media Player".

If detects some USB devices and drives connected to the Xbox, and can browse them for playable content, such as music and pictures. I would suggest trying this app if you haven't already.

The file manager app no longer works and was removed from the store by Microsoft. If you want to watch your own videos, and play music & look at your pictures, then using the media Player app is your best alternative. You can find it in the store.
