Rollback dashboard version

How do i roll back out of the new xbox one experience, its almost unusable, I want to stay in the preview program but this is causing far too many problems for me to use my system effectively

How to cancel Public Beta Program

You can't leave the beta because you can't go back dashboard versions.

xbox won't update

they did not. they said to wait for downloading to stop. another weird thing is when i tried the rollback code it still showed the newest dashboard version. like it is installed but still thinks it hasn't been updated. the most annoying part is i gave them
the status code and asked what it meant, and they gave me no answer.

You need to open Your Xbox One Preview.app and unregister Your console, but keep in mind, that this will restore Your console to factory defaults settings.

There is a bootleg version of the dashboard update available. People that download this version via usb and install it on their console will no longer be able to connect to xbox live.

The official release will be available in xbox.com on the 26th of october.

Dashboard updates modify files on the Hard drive, but also modify the firmware. A rollback will most likely not do anything as it only affects whats on the HDD and not the firmware.

People who have downloaded the fake version have 2 options:

1 - wait october 26th and hopefully the real version will overwrite the fake one

2 - send their console to repair and pray the service center doesn't ban it for downloading fake MS software.

Try rolling back the latest Windows update. How to roll back Windows 10 to an earlier version of Windows
To revert to a previous version of Windows, do the following:

If your computer is unplugged, be sure to plug it into the wall outlet and click Next.

Click Start and type "recovery".

Select Recovery Options (System Configuration).

Under Recovery, select Back to Windows [X], where [X] is the previous version of Windows.

Select a reason for the rollback, then click Next.

Click Back to Windows [X].

Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the rollback.
When the rollback is complete, the computer will boot to the previous version of Windows. If you used a password to log in on the previous version of Windows, you will need that password to log in.
