Roll the credits!..

Does anyone besides me watch video game credits? You can get all kinds of interesting facts from them.I just finished my first playthrough of Darksiders and was amazed to see one of the characters was voiced by none other than Mark Hamill(aka Luke Skywalker)!
Also saw that Silicon Knights were listed in the credits which made me think....why would they be listed when Vigil games were the developers? Didnt Silicon develop Too Human?

I often stay through the credits to see who voice acted the characters.

 

Nope, I usually just mash the B button to skip them. If I am interested in finding out who voiced who I will google it.

 

Well if I didn't watch the credits for Wolfenstein The New Order I would have missed the sequel/DLC bait.

 

Yeah it really depends on the game for me, generally I will only wait in hope for a little cutscene at the end or there might be a voice actor I want to check out, like Patrick Stewart in Castlevania.

 

really? you didn't realize the demon attached to you was hamill? it was very close to his joker i thought. but yeah, 9/10 i keep the credits playing. same reason i stay 'til the end of movie credits, incase there are post credit scenes or something. there
have also been 1 or 2 games with achievements for watching the credits...my favorite credits have been for the transformers cybertron games.

 

I always watch the credits for video games. I do it out of respect for the developers, but also because there's usually an incentive to do so. Some actually look cool and are very stylized, others have secrets or achievements tied to them, some have funny
thank you messages to friends and family, and as others have already said, you can see who might be involved in the game that's also famous ala Mark Hamill.

 

Also staying to the end to see if there is any extras is another reason too.

 

Nope because 99% of the time it's telling me who went to get the devs coffee and earned a special thanks.

 

No, I'm too busy posting mini reviews in the leaderboard thread while the credits are rolling.

 

I usually let the credits roll all the way through while I'm doing something else. Sometimes the credits music is nice like in AC4. I loved the main menu theme in that.

 

I always look for a Jennifer Hale or another favorite character voice over after beating a game and watching the credits..like i just saw the guy that voiced Garrus in the Mass Effect series also does voice overs and adds his likeness to L.A. Noire..super
cool.

 

There is a great game on XBLA called Lazy Raiders that has a special surprise hidden in the credits that make it worthwhile to watch for anyone who finishes the game.I wont say what it is but those that have finished it know what I'm referring to.
