Rockstar activation code pc

My son got the 7 disc GTA V game for pc for Xmas. After going through the whole process it doesn't work. I've read multiple thread's, some saying it should work automatically once you sign into your Social Club, some saying I need an activation code that is automatically generated and emailed. Neither has happened. That said, he has an account on Xbox1 as well, it linked to the pc, and that is the social club now visible on the pc, but no game play. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Just a friendly reminder though that for your concern you may need to reach out to Rockstar support themselves because they're the only one that can validate the license for the game especially if this is for PC.

Buy the game on PC again.

Licences on Xbox 360 or One can't be transfered to PC.

Did you buy a copy of the game on PC yet? Your game from Xbox can not be used on PC.

You need to buy it on PC if you have not already. Your Xbox versions will not work for you on PC. If you already purchased it for PC, just go back to the place you bought it from (if it was online) and get your code again. If you have not purchased for PC,
then unfortunately you will need to. GTAV is not a cross buy game.
