Downloaded two new songs for rocksmith and they aren't in the song list

Hi, as you have discovered Rocksmith 2014 songs don't work with Rocksmith, whereas Rocksmith songs do work with Rocksmith 2014. At least you now have an excuse to go out and get Rocksmith 2014 right ?

Are you talking about Rocksmith 2014 re mastered or the first rocksmith?

 

Are you asking if it will teach you? I tried Rocksmith and it is a pretty good tutor. I've been playing since 98 so not sure if it will help someone who never picked up a guitar but if you want to learn I'd say this is the cheapest option aside from self
teaching. Of course you have to buy a guitar but those are cheap nowadays for a beginner guitar.

The hardest part is getting your fingers to move where you want them, after that is accomplished, everything else is manageable with practice. Good luck and have fun.

 

A friend of mine has been learning to play guitar for the last five years or so, and I asked him the exact same question. His answer was nothing beats a proper tutor, however Rocksmith is very good at actually learning to play songs and play them well.

Can it teach you to play guitar? Yes, but Rocksmith and a tutor is the best option.

 

I read that there are also bass guitar routines/games for Rocksmith. Are those included when you purchase the DLC (or songs on disc), or separate? Is bass even available for all songs, or is that more of an afterthought?

Been thinking about getting this, to improve my terrible bass skills.

 

How does the digital version of Rocksmith work...

Since it doesn't come with an adaptor for your Patch Cord to the XBox?

 

I would imagine if you have one from the original you could use that. Maybe?

So the disc copy with adapter cable is $80, Costco has an electric guitar with amp for $150.00......

Hello Everyone! I've just purchased an Xbox One and I have a 360 too. My question is: how do I get DLC for free from 360 to my One? Because I read on Ubisoft I could do that, if I had a 360, but they don't teach how. Thank you!

 

@ Penny Theory: Go to the in-game store, find the songs you bought for the 360. Click on the song to buy it and the price will show as zero...
