    Hello,

    There is no Rocksmith game forum here to post this so I will ask this question here. Why is Rocksmith $59.99 to download but only 39.99 on Amazon.com (don't need the cable)? I'm really curious.

    Hi, as you have discovered Rocksmith 2014 songs don't work with Rocksmith, whereas Rocksmith songs do work with Rocksmith 2014. At least you now have an excuse to go out and get Rocksmith 2014 right ?

    Yes the songs will show in Rocksmith 2014, the good news is that for a small charge you can download the songs from Rocksmith as a pack to play in Rocksmith 2014, it was £6.75 here in the UK for that, absolute bargain.

    according to the FAQ it is not a new game, it's an update to your existing game. try launching it and see what happens.
