    Downloaded two new songs for rocksmith and they aren't in the song list

    Hi, as you have discovered Rocksmith 2014 songs don't work with Rocksmith, whereas Rocksmith songs do work with Rocksmith 2014. At least you now have an excuse to go out and get Rocksmith 2014 right ?

    Are you talking about Rocksmith 2014 re mastered or the first rocksmith?

    ROCKSMITH 2014

    No digital game that requires a separate peripheral includes that with the game, nor is that stated anywhere on the page listing that such peripherals are included. Games like Rocksmith, Rock Band 4, Guitar Hero Live, Skylanders, Disney Infinity or Lego
    Dimensions all have digital versions but the customer must provide their own hardware to play as it is not included in those purchases. You will have to buy that cable on its own.

    Hi, as you have discovered Rocksmith 2014 songs don't work with Rocksmith, whereas Rocksmith songs do work with Rocksmith 2014. At least you now have an excuse to go out and get Rocksmith 2014 right ?

    Yes the songs will show in Rocksmith 2014, the good news is that for a small charge you can download the songs from Rocksmith as a pack to play in Rocksmith 2014, it was £6.75 here in the UK for that, absolute bargain.

    according to the FAQ it is not a new game, it's an update to your existing game. try launching it and see what happens.
