Rocksmith 2014 - DLC Issue with Song Packs

I agree, miss diggs posts more or less the same answer every time, which is to check ubisofts forums.

I was using the forums since the game was released and got so fed up with the same old lame answers I blew my top and told them, in no uncertain terms, exactly what I thought about the whole DLC debacle and guess what - I got banned from the forums.

I won't be putting up with this crappy treatment from Microsoft or Ubisoft for much longer.

You know what I've purchased on my account, give me store credit to that value so I can re-download my DLC.

I've been a loyal customer with Xbox for 7 years, if this doesn't get sorted soon I'll be going to Sony and playstation. Pay attention Microsoft, your losing loyal customers because of Ubisoft.

 

its so bad that no one seems to take ownership of this issue and in the ubisoft forum they just keep saying the same vague answer.Can one side at least pinpoint the issue to who it falls on. most of the forums say microsoft/xbox but dont know who to believe,
just want to get this issue resolved so we can get the promised transferring of our dlc.

 

All of my DLC packs I've purchased through my Xbox 360 version of Rocksmith 2014 are still not available to download on my Xbox One version. Why hasn't this been fixed yet. Where is the update I was told would be available "soon"? I was told that nearly
two months ago. This should have been an issue that could've been fixed already. I want to play what I've purchased and I do not want to have to purchase them again. Please get this update out Microsoft! Or Ubisoft! Whoever needs to fix it should get it
done now! This isn't professional and it's not right. Get this show on the road. Seems like nothings being done in over two months of the xbox one version being out.

 

The purchases go through Microsoft and it seems the issue is that the DLC is not showing to be paid for so I would assume it is primarily a Microsoft issue. My problem is, if I look on my Microsoft account, it just shows purchases of Microsoft Points prior
to them getting rid of that system. So to show all of my paid DLC songs, I have to go into my Xbox 360 and manually document what I've previously paid for.

 

Yeah. I'm having the same issue bt8902 cited. I pulled my entire MS purchase history and it doesn't even have all my purchases listed. I'm going to have to manually document all my tracks as well. What a joke... ha! ha! ha! Joke's on you, consumer. What

So I just got the game today and when installing it to my system. it offered me the RS1 import. After downloading it said launch. All it did was send me to the main screen of the game. How do I download the RS1 sngs?

 

So when is this DLC problem going to be addressed? Sure wouldn't have bought this Xbox one and Rocksmith for Xbox One if I had known it was broke.....

 

Still missing songs from "The Police" Song pack, not available in individual songs either. I hear this game works much better on Steam for some reason, much faster than the "Xbox One" and may include features that are only present on Steam from what I hear.
Gonna wait until Steam puts that on sale, no longer purchasing DLC on the xbox one and making the switch when I can. Pathetic guys. Nice job.

 

There is no money to be made from this so it probably will take until Rocksmith 2015 comes out. They already have our money so why would they rush...

 

How hard can it be to fix? Two months now and still very little progress.

Only bought the One version because we were told DLC would transfer. All that seems to be happening is Ubi blame MS and MS blame UBI, while we just sit waiting with no solution in sight.

 

Who in their right mind would buy RS2015/16 or whatever it may be called if they can't even get the DLC to carry across to the current version. I certainly won't buy it until it's confirmed (and by that I don't mean empty promises like we have now)

 

I spoke to a customer service rep at Microsoft support in the uk, a man called Patrick, he was brilliant !, he totally understood the problem with the DLC not transferring, he checked my account and saw that I had bought my song packs on the 360, and as
a jesture of goodwill he let me re-purchase the packs but refunded the money straight away, back onto my Xbox account, so I now have all the packs that I purchased on 360 on my Xbox one.

Many thanks to Patrick for doing this for me, the rest of you may have some joy if you ask the support guys to do this for you, don't wait for a fix from ubisoft - they're a waste of time. Good luck.

My 5 packs were - The Police, Santana, Queen, Rush and Nickleback.

 

Maybe you just got lucky

Don't think I want to pay again for the 30 or so packs I'm missing and hope MS refund me, I'd rather they just fixed it. It's getting silly now, over two months!

 

I think the guy did this for me because I only had 5 packs to download and it was a little time consuming refunding money after every pack download, so 30 packs would take all day. Ubisoft should make this a priority and get it working as was promised, I
certainly wouldn't have bought the Xbox one and Rocksmith 2014 as quickly as I did, if they hadn't said the DLC from the 360 would carry over to Xbox 1.

 

Rocksmith coming out was the thing that finally got me to buy a One, I was holding off because RS was just about the only game I'd played for two years. Had they not said DLC would transfer I would never have bought it.

Unfortunately there's no money in it for either MS or Ubisoft, giving us back stuff we've already paid for, so why would they make it a priority? I bet if there was money to be made it'd have been fixed within a couple of weeks of release.
