Rocket league not for free for gold Members ?

Why is Xbox one not allowing Xbox gold members to have rocket league free for a month, and yet PS+ members got it free for a month. I went to rocket league fan page to expressed my out rage but they said it was Xbox who won't make it free for the first month.
although he very well maybe wrong i will find out who is lying because i was looking very well for the day that rocket league came out on Xbox one so i could play, but then it said i have to pay. If it is Xbox that is not allowing rocket league to be free
for gold members for the first month then its no wonder why Xbox is loosing to the PS4.

Rocket League is free to play with gold for this weekend. You can play the game for free yet by the end of the weekend if you want to continue to play you will have to purchase Rocket League.

 

If you want PS+ benefits then I suggest you buy a PlayStation. Just because Psyonix struck a deal with Sony doesn't mean Microsoft would or should do the same.

 

your Right Microsoft does not have to, But in not doing so they loose one by one of there gold members that may seem like the few to the many but eventually that many will fall and this could be the start. I like rocket league and i might actually consider
switching. Like i said its no wonder there not doing so good with Xbox one.

 

and Sony was the one that wanted to offer it as part of the monthly giveaway, Psyonix jumped on the chance of being paid for it and the possible free advertising that comes with the highlight of being a PS+ title so it no it was not Psyonix that wanted
it to just be for free for PS4

 

Regardless of who did what the game was on plus and that's that, however the Xbox version comes with 3 DLC pack included which cost £3.29 each on psn, so for £16 you'll be getting £26 of content on Xbox. Not really a bad deal at all.

 

I don't think they'll lose gold members because it's not free for a month. I don't see the appeal for this game. It looks awful and uninteresting. It might have been fun back on the N64 days however.

 

The game is a breath of fresh air, seriously good fun with a team of mates. I wouldn't have ever considered it without PS+ but I've sank dozens of hours into it, you might be surprised at how good it actually is if you give it a chance.

 

It's no "World Of Tanks" but it's supposed to be fun.

Enough of my buddies have recommended it for me to have grabbed it on pre-order.

Like Shiggy says you get all the DLC packs for free (apart from the new DLC packs they want you to buy like the Delorean).

 

brandiesel1, you couldn't be more wrong. I've got about 150 hours invested into the PC version and have enjoyed every minute. The game just works. Its fun, fast paced. Easy to pick up and play, hard to master. Its a great game on all levels. Its a
steal at 20 bucks.

 

Game development isn't free and the developers wanted to be properly compensated for their game this time, rather than only getting a fraction of what they could have gotten. Remember the developer has to agree to make it free, and they failed to do so.
Don't you think Microsoft would rather offer a huge game like Rocket League over Zheroes and Styx? You bet they would, but they can't force a developers hand.

Paying for the game = More support for the developer, and frankly, it's $20. It's a great game, and isn't going to set you back a ton of money.

 

Have you played and enjoyed Grifball on Halo? If so, this game is right down your ally. It's an absolute blast to play. Highly recommended you give it a try. If there is no trial and demo(Which I doubt, since nobody offers them anymore), then load up Halo
and try Grifball. It's the closest comparison to how much fun can be had in Rocket League.

 

Also Rocket League wasn't free on Playstation even if it was free for people on their pay for it service.
