Rocket League coming to Xbox One

Developer Psyonix has revealed that its popular multiplayer game Rocket League will be launching on the Xbox
One. The announcement was made during The Game Awards earlier today. The game is scheduled to launch in February 2016 with new Gears
of War and Halo-themed cars.

Rocket League Promotion

I purchased a three month Xbox Gold subscription during Rocket League's promotion. Per the promotion, I was supposed to receive a free code for Rocket League. I have yet to get the code.

Games with Gold eventually.

 

It should be games with gold off the bat. On day one it was free on PS plus.

 

It should be free, it pretty much has been everywhere else. Thats one of the games they bundled with the steam link.

 

I don't see what the appeal is of this game. It looks atrocious and not fun at all.

I got this game with PS+ and I didn't like it. It's just not my type of game . I'm not saying it's bad either. Definately give it a try when it comes out and decide.

pros:

Good control

Fun at 1st

Easy to play

Power ups are cool

cons:

Repeatative

 

I love it, i play it virtually everyday. And so does my son.

It is easy to get in to, And takes a while to master. Especially the aerials and off the wall techniques.

It is fun, fast, and IMO - One of the better games i have played for some time, I have purchased all the DLC for it. Because i got it for free with PS+. And feel the need to support the developer.

The graphics for the game, are in keeping with it's style. Like when you get demolished in the Deloreon, You leave a trail and your number plate spins where you were killed. It's these little touches that make the game excellent. And with all the different
modes, and Ranked options. And a full time League competition. It is for the money, excellent value.

The one thing i hope for is Cross-Play, PS4 to PC is a regular on this game, And if they announced that it was PS4 - Xbox One - PC. That would bring gaming into another realm. Fingers crossed.

I hope this helps, i know it's my opinion, but don't knock this game till you try it. It's simply well made, addictive, and fun. Great for Couch-co-op as well, with 4 player splitscreen, great for a good games night in with the guys or gals.
