Rocket League alt tabbing by itself when using a controller [PC]

Windows 10, Rocket League on Steam.

Hello, I have an issue with Rocket League. I play with Xbox 360 wired controller. Sometimes the game alt tabs so my controller doesn't respond to buttons and I have to alt-tab back in game with my keyboard to continue playing. The game doesn't close, it just prevents controls to be used when using a controller.

I remember having a similar issue with my previous pc years back with this same controller. Now I have a new pc and the issue is there again. I don't remember the solution I did.

I can't update my controller through Xbox Accessories because 360 isn't supported there.
I tried using borderless windowed option in Rocket League in game with no help. I also tried disabling startup programs through msconfig but didn't find a solution.

i use it on steam too, but in win 10 it was bugging me, in win 11 it still does it but not as much, i think it is the game as it does not happen with any other game.

it does it with the steam version and the epic launcher version too. basically they are the same game really.

Hello, I tried navigating to that location on computer management. I have some tasks on Office location but there's no OfficeBackgroundTaskHandlerRegistration task visible.

Aight, I'm using it on Steam. Haven't tried on windows 11 yet. Will update to 11 some time soon.

Yeah good tip with the mouse, it's faster that way. Still annoying and might cause to lose the game because of the pause of controlling the car.

refresh the indexing, this seems to make fullscreen apps lose focus meaning you have to alt tab or click within the screen to get control again.
