every game online has some kind of issues with behaviour, this is promtly stamped out, this is why all online gaming for children should be supervised by a responsible adult.

Well,for a start this is nothing to do with Microsoft as the report is on a B.B.C. website so if you really are offended then take it up with them although i don't see how anyone can be offended by someone warning parents about the possible dangers of
children playing online unsupervised.

The son shouldn't have had unrestricted and uncontrolled access to a smartphone and/or internet at an age where he clearly isn't mature enough to distinguish right from wrong. But I guess it's easier to just blame a game when you neglect your parenting
duties.

You don't mention why you're offended by the article, so it's a bit hard to offer much support. Just remember that this is an extreme case and not the norm (as the article also points out.)
