RNG gambling

I will not buy any game with any kind of rng system. Passed on Cod ww2, Star Wars and all others. This is a cancer on video games. I hope it gets fixed legally soon. Every body should boycott games with rng forcing Microsoft to rethink rng rip offs. SPEAK

its rng . Your at the mercy of how the numbers roll out for the cards in the packs. This is why it is a lot like gambling. No card is guaranteed to be in any pack

 

100% is 100% right?

RNG can make a 100% sure shot bounce. RNG stands for Russian Number Generator; the "luck" factor in the game. RNG also gives out the damage roll of a shot when it does go in.

Unfortunately, this so true.

Seems like this is going to be the future of gaming. The majority of companies are all going this route. Personally I believe they should just increase the base price of games to $80 from $60. Pay the bit extra and get a more complete
game. It will make in-game purchases optional and not a necessity as it is now. Games will continue to be made with "grinding" in mind. Most games are going to be open world because it's easier to push (hide) transactions and grind into that than a SP linear
game.

 

It's nothing to do with Microsoft.

It's the games developers who put this in,not Microsoft,although they do publish Forza.

Forza 7 was ruined partly because of these loot crates.

Technically it's not gambling as you are always guaranteed to get something out of these loot boxes.

I don't mind it in free games,i've bought a few loot box keys in Star Trek Online.It's a free game I've put over a 1000 hours in to so spending a few quid to support that game isn't an issue to me.

This has already been bought up in parliament here in the U.K. & is something they are keeping an eye on (so they say).

Thing is,you are not forced into spending real money for these crates.They'll get worse before something else will take their place.

Gaming is big business now so they are always looking at ways of making more money.
