Risk! crashed when connecting to live

Hi All since the latest xbox update Risk crashes everytime you attempt to access any online play, ive tried a reinstall but no joy...

I know its a long shot but anyone have any ideas?

I don't really believe in protection plans. There's so few times that things have broken and fallen under the programs when I did get them. Its like spinning a wheel. You have to assess your risk and make the best decision from that. The risk for me is pretty low. My xbox, sits high, gets air sprayed, cleaned and is connected to a surge protector. My first xbox lived 5 years with no issues. I'm hoping this second one does the same.

Here's hoping anyway.

 

Is GTAV crashing for anyone?

crashed twice for me, straight after taking a photo, dunno whether it could be unavailability of the rockstar service that it tries connecting to, to save it.

 

I have had the same problem. As soon as you go to connect to ubisoft servers it freezes and the sound stutters like a skipping cd and then it goes black and goes back to the home menu. Is ubisoft risk server down? Is there any way to correct this?

To clarify, is this happening in RISK! or RISK! : Urban Assault.

Do you see any error messages or error codes when this happens? If you haven't done so yet, try to uninstall the game and reinstall it to see if that helps.

It happens when trying to connect to ubisoft servers, it also happens if you skip this step, there is no error message or anything, just freezes, makes an awful noise and quits,

I re installed my whole xbox last night but the problem persists.... any ideas

 

it is rather interesting that this started happening the day before the new version was released.... i feel a conspiracy coming on!

Sorry you're all experiencing the same issue. Since the game loads up and crashes when attempting to connect to the Ubisoft servers, you may want to reach out to Ubisoft Support to report the issue. They have a page for
Risk Support that has the option to email support directly.

I have to go to settings network and go offline in order to play offline...
