Rise of Tomb Raider - Season Pass

Funny - when the game launched with a Season Pass, it had a problem reported on a number of forums, see [Xbox One] Season Pass Verification [Resolved] - Page 2 which
outlines what the issue is.

So this problem was registered with Square Enix, who say its a Microsoft issue, and with Microsoft who have said its a Square Enix issue.

My problem is that Microsoft is aware of a problem with a Season Pass, and selling it through their store to unsuspecting buyers (I was one). So $39.95 later, I have no DLC, a questionable Season Pass and when i call through for a refund nobody seems to
recognise the microsoft issued Order Number.

Problems all around on that one...

Hey dude,

The main thing is that its showing on your purchase history, which means it has registered that you have it. So you won't miss out on anythign at least

There then seems to be a bug that is causing the season pass not to show correctly. I'm guessing that they are aware and working on it, but a Support team member might be able to shed a bit more light on the subject.

I wouldn't worry too much though, you've definiately got it, its just a matter of them (whoever it is that is at fault) sorting it out for everyone. As people have spent money on this, I'm sure it'll be high on their priority list

Hi,

When you go to the store, to look at the season pass does it say "Manage" / "Already Purchased" or wants you to it buy again?.

We will have to wait to DLC is released to confirm that there is a problem with the season pass, Dying light's season pass is also not listed in the manage game section but I was able to download the DLC for free(also other games I have purchased the season
pass for).

Don't worry about it, when DLC is released we will all see.

I guess i just find it a tad irksome that MS sells something with *possible* known issues and we all wait sans dollars and DLC!

Also support was no use, its a case of wait and see at this point

At least the game is enjoyable which is the main thing!!

 

I'm irked because I spent over an hour "chatting" with Microsoft support, who had me uninstall the game and reinstall, which did nothing, and when I described AGAIN the problem, they FINALLY said, "Oh, there's an issue. We know about it and hope to have
it fixed today." That was two days ago. As for the DLC, there are aspects of the Season Pass that are supposed to work from Day One, or so their product description says, so not being able to access it does absolutely nothing for me.

 

So the first DLC was released today and I go to download it and it says I have to pay for it. So I check my season pass and it says I can manage it. Then I check my Digital Deluxe Edition which it says I have to buy. Then I check the standard version
which it wants me to buy. Why does it not even say I bought either version when I bought the Deluxe Edition and can still play it but the store says I own nothing but the season pass that doesn't even work?

it seems there is a major problem with the season pass and the deluxe edition, looks like the store thinks I have bought the normal edition. I too can't download the new outfit for free.

Update: It looks like I am able to install the new DLC without paying for it and looks like the season pass is fixed for me. Are you able to download the Siberian Ranger DLC for free?

Yes it worked for me about 2 days after release; the first couple of days it wanted me to purchase it again.

Lets see how the rest goes....
